The Hero Program seeks to foster positive relationships within our community by providing a full-circle and specialized training program to vetted professionals, a mentorship program for youth, and mechanisms for community outreach.  

 

Through our training and validation process we are able to identify individuals including first responders, business and civic leaders, teachers, religious leaders, or any individual who can have a positive impact on a youth’s life, and who exemplify the highest standards of ethics and character.

 

These persons are then integrated into the Youth Program, which provides character development programs and positive role models for local children. As a result of these efforts, local youth are able to interact and witness “everyday heroes” who provide guidance, mentorship and an exciting alternative to any less-than-exemplary role models they may encounter.
